Community Kids Activities Club - CKAC Rules for Coalition Kids

(Please take time and go over rules with your child(ren).

In order to be transported by the Coalition For Kids, Inc. all children will be required to:

  1. Wear seat belt properly at all times.
  2. Be in appropriate child restraints as set forth by the State of Tennessee.
  3. Keep hands inside of van.
  4. Keep hands and feet to themselves; respect others space.
  5. Stay seated at all times.
  6. Do not climb over or under seats.
  7. No screaming or shouting.
  8. Always listen to what the driver is saying.
  9. Keep their back packs under the seat, on the floor, in front of them.
  10. Remove trash from the bus/van.
  11. Keep bus/van doors closed until van is parked and the engine is turned off.
  12. Have a Parent/Guardian/Authorized Adult must meet CFK bus/van to sign child out before child is allowed off van.

Consequences:

First Offense: Written Warning
Second Offense: Suspended from van privileges for 3 days.
Third Offense: Loss of bus/van privileges for the remaining time of program.

Do's

  • Do have fun and learn.
  • Do feel safe and loved.
  • Do respect yourself and others.
  • Do clean up your mess.
  • Do keep chairs flat on the floor.
  • Do raise your hand to speak.
  • Do use good manners.
  • Do thank staff and volunteers for their help.
  • Do follow directions the first time asked.

Don'ts

  • Don't use any foul language or name-calling.
  • Don't hit, kick, or physically or mentally harm anyone else.
  • Don't talk while a staff person is talking.
  • Don't talk or be disrespectful during prayer time.
  • Don't play games without permission.
  • Don't go upstairs, outside, or leave the classroom without permission.
  • Don't run in the main room.
  • Don't play with lights or in the bathrooms.
  • Don't use the front stairway.
  • Don't abuse any equipment or supplies.
  • Don't bring toys or personal items from home or school.
  • Don't possess tobacco products, alcohol, drugs, or weapons at any time.
  • Don't show any gang signs, colors, or representations at anytime.
