Awesome Kids Club - AKC The Awesome Kids Club is an after school tutoring and homework program that focuses on meeting children's educational needs as identified by their teachers. AKC was first designed to help impoverished, at risk children with school work for better understanding and improved academic performance. The program focuses on: Reading Writing Life Skills and Too Good For Drugs Curricula Physical education Mathematics Homework assistance

Children in AKC have excelled in their school work which raises their self-esteem and facilitates them in meeting their educational requirements — thus creating an enthusiastic attitude toward school and learning.

We are proud of our partnerships made over time with schools, churches and local businesses.

Our partners provide resources, buildings, volunteers, vans and finances to assist our vision of changing the world one kid at a time.

The AKC program first began September 15, 1999 with 28 children and has grown to over 260 children per day.

You can sponsor one of these children for as little as $50 a month.
